Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 30 July 2026

1. Definitions

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to SwiftQuote, the courier quotation and booking service provider. "You" and "your" refer to the customer placing the order. "Services" means the collection, transport and delivery of goods arranged through our platform.

2. Quotations

Quotes generated on our platform are estimates based on the information you provide, including collection and delivery addresses, vehicle type and mileage. A quote is valid for 14 days from issue. The final price may change if the details of the job differ from those quoted (for example, additional mileage, waiting time or access restrictions).

3. Orders and Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the Services. Your order is accepted when we confirm the booking and (where applicable) payment is received. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order at our discretion, in which case any payment already taken will be refunded in full.

4. Payment

Payment is due at the time of booking unless you hold an approved credit account with us. Credit account customers agree to settle invoices within 30 days of the invoice date. All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise, and VAT is added at the prevailing rate. Late payment of credit account invoices may incur interest and recovery costs.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate collection and delivery information, including addresses, contact names and numbers, and to ensure the goods are ready and accessible at the agreed time. You must ensure goods are suitably packed for transport and that you have authority to send them. You are responsible for any costs arising from incorrect or incomplete information.

6. Goods and Exclusions

We will not carry illegal, hazardous, dangerous or prohibited goods, or any items we are not lawfully permitted to transport. You must declare the nature of the goods when booking. We may refuse to collect or deliver any consignment that does not comply with these requirements.

7. Delivery Times

Collection and delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather and other factors outside our control. We will use reasonable endeavours to meet agreed times but shall not be liable for delays except where caused by our negligence.

8. Liability

Our liability for loss of or damage to goods is limited in accordance with the applicable law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. You are responsible for arranging goods-in-transit insurance for items of higher value. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Cancellations

You may cancel an order before collection has taken place. If we have already dispatched a vehicle, a cancellation fee may apply to cover our costs. We may cancel a booking if you breach these terms, and will refund any payment less costs already incurred.

10. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable data protection law. We use your information to provide the Services, process payments and communicate with you about your orders.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where otherwise required by law.

These terms are provided as a general draft. Please have them reviewed by a legal professional before relying on them for live commercial use.
